The following programs are available to the general public at the following rates:
* $250 - Children's workshops (15 - 20 participants)
* $25/person - Parent workshops
* $250 - Market & Farm visits (15 - 20 participants)
Of course! We believe kids should start learning about food and nutrition as soon as they are able to eat real solid foods. Our theme-based workshops cater to curious and tactile 'sponges' ages 2-4 , take it a step further for 'eager beavers' ages 4-6 and really dig in for 'able and willing' lunchclub aged children 6-12.
Our workshop instructors are focused on providing Real food experiences and not classroom supervision. In order to maintain the ratio requirements outlined at our daycares and lunchclubs, we require that on-site supervision be provided by the children's regular caregivers. Plus, this gives caregivers and teachers an opportunity to take part in our food experiences!
Our hands-on programs for teachers/caregivers and children are delivered at your childcare, lunchclub or preferred site (community centre, large home etc).
The parent workshops and 'HHH' - train the trainer program are offered at our Real Food Kitchen classroom (Coming soon...)
The Market & Farm fieldtrips are held at local markets in your area.
We take precautions to avoid food being contaminated with peanuts and tree nuts in all of our programs. If your child has other serious allergies (apart from peanuts and tree nuts) please let us know upon booking a workshop and we will accommodate accordingly.

All of our programs are available throughout the year except our Farmer's Market & Farm fieldtrips, which are offered during the Spring, Summer and Fall months only.
Yes. The Real Food Challenge is currently provided only at lunchclub's where RFRK is providing a hot lunch option.
The Real Food Challenge was designed by Kristen Schroeder from RFRK and a group of dedicated Ontario Teachers, with assistance from Peggy Kotsopolous, RFRK's certified partner Nutritionist, and other creative minds from the RFRK community.
