Fuel up! Morning Snack

Our snacks always contain at least two food groups, and variety is important. Fruits and whole grains are stressed in the morning, and kids love our fun and creative snack ideas - like our Banana Roll-up (banana, no-nut butter and whole wheat organic tortilla).

Delicious, all natural lunch

Our 4-week rotating menu includes grass-fed beef, naturally-raised chicken, mouth-watering fish, whole wheat pasta and nutrient-rich legume based entrées, plus an inspired mix of red, purple, basmati and brown rices, organic quinoa, whole wheat bread and colourful combinations of vegetables - with a particular focus to get any of these ingredients locally grown and organic whenever possible.

Our menus are approved by a registered dietician AND a nutritionist and follow all of the guidelines in the Day Nurseries Act.

Real Food for Real Kids menus are proud to represent many of the culinary cultures that make up our city. Our menu takes you from France and Italy, through Africa to India and the South Pacific with a stop over in the Caribbean on route to Latin America. We bring "World Studies" to the plate!

Need a Boost! Afternoon Snack

Inspired combinations of whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables are served in the afternoon including whole wheat zucchini bread, oatmeal cookies, carrot muffins, fresh salsa, hummus, amazing veggie dips and more.
