When did you start working at RFRK and why?
I started as the first RFRK team member in July 2005 after hearing about Lulu and her project. As soon as I met the passionate, amazing Frenchwoman, I wanted to join the Real Food Movement to change the way children were eating in the GTA.
What do you do at RFRK?
I work on the Education Program, with our childcare partners, contribute to menu development, and mmm... so much eating.
What is the one thing you think makes RFRK what it is?
Our commitment behind everything we do. Real Food is not just our job, it's our passion!
What would you grow/raise in your backyard if you could?
KuneKune (sweetest, most loveable) pigs - not for eating though. I'd love to have a green roof to grow all lettuces and root veggies.
Can RFRK change the world?
It already is. Very soon kids in the RFRK program will be moving, shaking and teaching other children about real food.
What food/eating/health tip do you have for moms, dads and kids?
Relax. Try new foods together. Get everyone involved in planning, shopping and preparing family meals.
