Ed, his wife Shirley, and the entire Faul family are amazing folks! Following in the footsteps of their Hungarian-born family, the Fauls have been raising all-natural, drug-free beef since 1957.
Their commitment to raising delicious and healthy beef starts with their closed herd, meaning that every animal on their farm is born on their farm - no cattle are purchased or loaned, and animals don't have contact with any outside livestock. This method of raising cattle provides protection from communicable diseases, and is unique in today's marketplace - most herds are "built" through auctions and transactions, and cattle travel far and wide between farms and feed lots.
Their commitment continues with raising their own feed crops, crafting as low-stress an environment as possible, and refusing to use sub-therapeutic antibiotics. In short, every possible step is taken to ensure the health of their herd. For the Faul family, wholesome and natural food is a way of life, and we couldn't be happier to call them our partners.
